"I prayed for guidance. Now teach me to use it."

Spirit told me they aren’t going to repeat themselves anymore. They told me I need to trust the messages I receive immediately because second guessing myself is the equivalent of second guessing God. He gave me the messages so who am I to doubt them?

Yesterday I had a job interview. Spirit told me what to wear to the interview. It didn’t make sense to me - the pants were way too tight and uncomfortable. The shirt too loose and the shoes had no support. I listened to spirits orders and I left the house extremely uncomfortable before the interview. This staircase became my Everest. The pants were too tight to bend my legs in and I had no idea how I would walk up so many steps! 😂

Right before any interview I tend to feel anxious and nervous but I was so busy laughing at how uncomfortable I was that I totally forgot about my nerves.

This song (Risk It) by @nahko_and_mftp came on shuffle and seemed to amplify during these lyrics. Spirit has a really fun sense of humor. I’ve been asking for guidance but then not using it. I second guess the messages far too much as if spirit doesn’t have my best interest at heart.

So I wanted to share this with you today as well. As human beings we see time as linear and make “rational” decisions for ourselves, sometimes avoiding taking chances because consequences may not work in our favor. If I wore the comfortable clothes yesterday then I would have seen this staircase and rushed through it, allowing my already anxious heart to beat even faster before an interview I was nervous for. Listening to spirit meant I was forced to take my time and find the humor in my situation.

I hope you listen the next time spirit nudges you in a specific direction. You may not see how time bends, miracles occur, or why the irrational decision is best but it is. Trust your intuition because it will never let you down.
