Happiness Requires Action

As someone who has gone through depression through most of my life, I never want to make anyone think being depressed is their fault. At the same time, I know from experience that you cannot sit around waiting for happiness to find you. Happiness requires action. That means actively changing the way you speak, the way you think of certain experiences, and seeking help when you need it. We can grow too accustomed to complaining on social media but our words are our mantras and putting negativity out there allows for negativity to return back to you tenfold. The same works for positivity so I encourage you to try it. Watch as positive things begin to happen more frequently for you. Spirit wanted me to remind you of this today. Unhappiness is not a life sentence. You can change your life but it does require action on your part. There are so many incredible books and medical professionals that are here to help! You’re not alone and I pray this message is amplified in your heart today.
