I am safe.

When I first began my mediumship I read a lot of books because, at the time, I didn’t know any other mediums to ask questions or seek guidance from. I’d screenshot or write down quotes from these books and read them repeatedly as little mantras to get through the hard times I was experiencing.
One of the books explained how often times it’s our own fears that block us from the next stage in our mediumship and in life. The author (who’s name I can’t remember right now) said to remind yourself every time you get nervous, “it is safe for me to see.” See the messages. See spirit. See ghosts. See what God wants us to do to serve Him.
I wrote that on an index card and pinned it to my desk. The same desk that, all these years later, I do all of my readings for clients. In the last few readings, spirit has mentioned the clients feeling unsafe in some way but how it’s a burden they’ve placed on themselves. An illusion of something being more powerful than God’s protection.
In all of these readings, spirit wanted the client to say to themselves “I am safe.” It was a profound moment where each time this was said I could feel the shift of energy in the air. By simply saying out loud “I am safe” they were able to release whatever was blocking the light from their life.
For the last two weeks my guides kept encouraging me to post these three words and I realize it’s because we all fear for our safety to some capacity. Whether that’s the fear of keeping our jobs, fear of not doing enough at work, fear of paying our bills, fear of not being enough in our relationships, fear of not succeeding in our personal goals- fear should never replace our faith. Even if you don’t believe in a higher power- fear should never replace your faith in yourself.
So, on this slushy Monday morning, I encourage you to say this out loud or to yourself: I am safe. I am safe. I am safe. So shall it be.
Release whatever false belief you’ve chained yourself too and let the light in. May today be a testament to your souls truth and the start of something powerful.
